Israel is reopening to tourists from this coming Sunday 19 September 2021 - the eve of the week-long Jewish holiday of Sukkot (Tabernacles).
This is good news for Israelis and their relatives in the Diaspora, Christian pilgrims and even better for the country’s tourism industry, which like that of many others worldwide has been blighted by COVID-19 rules.
